Chess camp is great & fun!
Thank you for being nice, I am coming back next time! I had a blast!
This chess camp was really cool because the teachers were really good at chess and teaching, and learned alot from them.
The camp has been a great opportunity to learn more about chess, and I am very appreciative for it. Chances like this do not come along often in this part of the country.
This camp is very informative. I have never had instruction from a GM before, so this really makes me want to take from a GM.
Sam loved all aspects of chess camp. I asked him if there was anything he didn’t like – he said “I can’t think of anything!”, His favorite part was “the teaching.” Thank you for running this wonderful camp and for bringing the wonderful teachers.
We have really enjoyed the chess camp. It was fun and exciting, and helped us look at the game of chess in a new way. It has helped us improve our chess and look more closely at positions on the board while playing. It has been a most wonderful experience. The instructors were really thorough and taught us many things we did not know and helped refresh our minds of things we do know. Alex was an amazing instructor. We really enjoyed his teaching style. We also liked how he would go over conclusions to re-emphasize on what he had talked about, this helped reinforce what he taught.

This camp has been two years of great fun and growth for my daughter. She has climbed close to 400 USCF rating points in two years. The camp has helped. Great fun and world class talent, this speaks for itself and sums up the Mid-South Chess Camp. Thanks for the great fun.
The lessons were great! I really enjoyed the teachers as well. They did an excellent job in analyzing and explaining their theories. The classes were not to long and fit into my schedule because they were at night. I hope to come back and attend the night classes next year in 2005. Thanks for bringing in the GMs!
I found the camp to be very instructive and an excellent environment for stimulating the critical thinking process. The instructors, facilitators, and facilities made the camp a success. I look forward to attending again in 2005.
The instructors at Mid-South Chess are the real deal. They are the elite actively competing chess professionals. They have been invaluable in adding to my knowledge and pointing me in the right directions to improve my game. I credit them in helping me achieve a 1900 rating and winning the Mississippi state chess title two years in a row.
