Mid-South Chess is pleased to announce our After-School Chess Programs are starting up again in person this August or September depending on when your school opens.

COVID-19 restrictions are relaxing. We are following school mandates and are now planning to start in-person chess clubs in all our schools. Mid-South Chess is dedicated to providing the best coaching available to each of its schools.
Our coaches provide chess instruction, supervised play, and chess development to every student in every one of our programs. We assign enough coaches to each school to have small groups gathered into age and level appropriate sections. Student safety is number one with us and our director makes sure each program is well- supervised.
Our programs are structured to be fun, educational, and develop to the best of each student’s ability their chess skills. We also promote attendance at local, regional, and national tournaments along with attending a local county wide free chess club, Friday Knights Chess Club. Mid-South Chess is proud to say we promote Chess as an Art, a Science, and a Sport.
