Marcel Martinez

FM Marcel Martinez was born in Havana, Cuba in 1980.
Marcel currently holds two IM norms and one GM norm. He is a former US High School National Champion in 1998 and a former US Junior National Champion in 1999. In 2004 Marcel tied for first in US Open held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Currently Marcel is teaching promising Floridian chess players. Some of them have been state and national champions in their grades.
