Iryna Zenyuk

Iryna is originally from Ukraine. She learned to play chess from her grandfather at the age of six. Since age seven she has been competing in the Ukraine on a national level. Iryna emigrated to US when she was 15. She was the official representative of the US in the World Youth Championship in Girls U18 category. Iryna participated in the prestigious US Championship three times in the years 2005-07. Her teaching experience includes after school chess programs in New York. Outside the world of chess, Iryna is a senior in Polytechnic University majoring in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering.
